Unsettled and very wet for some Good morning, Rain, locally heavy, will move north across southern and central England and Wales in the morning, with southeastern Ireland also wet. Further north, it will be mostly dry with sunny spells. Rain will clear southern England and south Wales during the afternoon, shifting into northern England, with heavy bursts possible around Liverpool, Blackpool and North Wales. Ireland remains wet, while Scotland is mostly dry with a few southwest showers. Heavy rain will continue across northern England and southern Scotland overnight. Rain will also affect eastern Ireland, Wales and southwest England, with low cloud and showers possible along southern English coasts. Elsewhere, mainly dry.
