Saturday Another area of low pressure will approach from the southwest, bringing a spell of rain northeastwards across Ireland, Wales and much of England. The rain may be heavy for a time, particularly across southern and western areas, accompanied by strengthening winds near the English Channel. Drier and brighter conditions should follow into Ireland and western Britain later. Highs of around 21C in the southeast and 16C to 18C further north and west.
