Sunday A rather unsettled day as further rain spreads northeastwards across Ireland and the UK. The wettest conditions are likely across Ireland, western Scotland and parts of western Britain. Elsewhere, the rain should be more intermittent, with some brighter intervals but also a risk of heavy or thundery showers. Highs of around 21C in southeast England and 16C to 18C in the northwest.
