Thu Aug 27: Friday Low pressure will remain close to the British Isles, bringing cloudy skies and outbreaks of rain across northern and eastern England and parts of Scotland. Some of the rain could be heavy, while a few heavy showers are also possible across southwest England and Wales. Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland should see longer dry and brighter spells, although scattered showers remain possible. Highs of around 23C in the southeast and 17C in the north.
